Essential oils are the final result of a complete Alchemical process that yields the purest, most concentrated form of the original flower, herb, fruit, or root. Usually by steam distillation, pressing, or effleurage. It can take several pounds of a plant to produce a single bottle of essential oil. The reason that aromatherapy is so effective is that the molecular structure of essential oil is small enough that when inhaled, they enter the olfactory nerves & travel directly to the oldest part of the brain & especially impact the amygdala (the emotional center of the brain).

Essential oils can also be absorbed by the skin. Essential oils have different effects on our bodies. They can relax us, excite us, arouse us, clear our thoughts, work as antivirals, on & on. Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit. Aromatherapy has been used for centuries.

Our oil prices vary depending on the specific oil. Some oils like Lavender might be inexpensive, while others, like Rose Absolute require thousands of petals to create just one drop. Thus their individual prices reflect the delicacy & intensity of the process required to create them. Oil prices fluctuate continually depending on conditions related to the production of the oils. Individual crops can be highly affected by many different situations like blights, droughts, pests, & other factors that may make an oil expensive & hard to acquire during various times of the year & during their growing/harvesting seasons.
