SAGING & SMOKE CLEANSING - Sage is an herb held sacred by Native Americans for hundreds of years. Used in rituals & ceremonies for centuries, Smudging is a cleansing ceremony used to help people, places, or even objects get rid of negative energy or even bad spirits, & invite in positive uplifting energy. It's also used for protection depending on the type of Smudge you use.

There are four elements involved in a Smudging Ceremony:

• The container, traditionally a shell represents the first element of Water.
• The sacred plants (cedar, sage, sweetgrass, Palo Santo, tobacco, juniper, lavender, sweetgrass, rosemary, etc) represent the second element of Earth & are gifts from Mother Earth.
• The flame produced from lighting the sacred plants represents the third element of Fire.
• The smoke produced from the fire & by burning the plants represents the fourth element of Air.
