In a desire to recognize the ground breaking artwork that Pamela Coleman Smith, a push has been made over the last few years to introduce a new version of the classic Rider Waite Tarot Deck that celebrates the artist of one of the most influential Tarot Decks of ALL time. After creating the much beloved artwork for Arther Edward Waite's Rider-Waite Tarot Deck in 1909 for barely any money, the life story of Pamela Coleman Smith took many bad turns. She died penny less & her personal items were auctioned off to pay her debts.
Pamela Colman Smith’s beloved tarot artwork, created in 1909 under the direction of Arthur E. Waite, is now presented in a borderless format for a more immersive reading experience. This 84-card deck includes four extra cards with reproduction samples of Pixie’s non-tarot artwork, including two watercolor paintings “Catch Me” & “Duet”; the Lovers illustration from the play Deirdre; & an illustration from the sheet music for “Christmas Carol.” The deck comes with an instruction booklet.
